In 2017, Impact Expeditions, along with 14 other participants, successfully installed SOLAR lighting units in the villages of Takmachik, which were previously off the grid.

This initiative not only provided power in these houses but also promoted eco- tourism and sustainable practices within the communities.

This project helped the villagers with an additional source of income. In five days, the community's total earnings reached ₹1,00,000 giving a great boost to the locals and the village economy.
